Garry Michael Kluger

Garry Kluger began acting at the age of 8 and continued professionally right up to the time when he realized that the last 8 roles he had auditioned for were all in the elf/leprechaun genre (not to be unexpected when one is 5'4".) So he concentrated on his writing.

As a writer Garry has authored 4 books, written 3 TV pilots, 12 documentaries, several series, over 120 live shows and 18 theatrical plays. In 2009 Garry was awarded one of the Red Carpet Awards from the group Women In Theatre for his work as a playwright. Garry has also written for various national magazines on a variety of topics, was a movie reviewer for the Hearst Corporation on-line, and an entertainment reporter for his local paper.

For television, Garry was the head writer for the FX Network show, The FX Friday Night FiX, and was nominated along with his wife Lori for a CableACE Award for one of their 10 Ultimate Guide documentaries on the Discovery Channel. Garry was also a producer and/or writer for original TV pilots such as Office Hours and Off The Record

As a long time Disney writer, Garry has written many shows for Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Studios, WDI, Disney Down Under, and was the head writer for all of their shows in the Innoventions Building at Disneyland. And aside from writing nationally and internationally for Disney, Garry has created live shows for the Huis Ten Bosch Park in Japan and a live musical review for a theatre in Greece.
